Marylou (Holka) Garfalo, 76, of Niagara Falls, NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Henry and Martha (LeMay) Holka.

Marylou was raised in Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On November 16, 1957, she married Ricardo 'Rick' J. Garfalo, Sr. She worked at the Century Club as well as the Caravan Motel for forty six years, both in Niagara Falls, NY. Marylou was known to be the life of the party and her humor and wit were known by many. She was an excellent cook and baker with her home and table always full. Marylou was also a great seamstress. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. When she saw her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her eyes would light up. She has left a void no one can ever fill but Marylou's love remains with us forever.

Marylou is survived by her husband Ricardo 'Rick' J. Garfalo, Sr.; four children Anthony M. (Rose) Garfalo, Therese R. (Darrel) Kashishian both of Niagara Falls, NY; Ricardo J. (Susan) Garfalo, Jr. of Williamsville, NY and Venessa (Mark) Sanchez of Niagara Falls, NY; fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother Henry 'Hank' (Barbara) Holka of Niagara Falls, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her cat Smokey. She was predeceased by four brothers Raymond Holka, Paul Holka, Calvin (Mickey of Niagara Falls, NY) Holka and Andrew (late Jackie) Holka.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Friday May 3rd at 9:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 624 Hyde Park Boulevard, Niagara Falls, NY with Pastor Robert Scott officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
