Marzia Lucia "Lucy" Pati, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Tuesday August 3, 2010 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Amantea, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy she was the daughter of the late John and Costanza (Rizzo) Beningo. She was predeceased by her husband Luigi Pati on May 25, 1985.

Lucy was educated in Italy and came to Niagara Falls, NY in 1953 where she lived until the present time. Lucy was a volunteer worker for many area religious organizations. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking and gardening. But most of all, Lucy's greatest pleasure was being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Pati is survived by four children Jennie (Carmen) Marinello of Niagara Falls, NY; Anna (John) Balha of Oceanside, CA; John (Diane) Pati of Lewiston, NY and Frank Pati of Niagara Falls, NY; seven grandchildren Dina Marinello, Nicole Marinello, Michelle Marinello, Gabriella Pati, Marissa Pati, Matthew Balha and Taylor Balha and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother Frank (Pearl of Cleveland, OH) Beningo.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday August 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Flowers are gratefully declined.
