Mason T. Johnson, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday January 2, 2019 at his home.  Born in Niagara Falls on January 28, 1929, he was the son of the late Neil and Gladys (Martin) Johnson.

Mason was the husband of 64 years to Joan Saulino, whom he married on May 8, 1954.  He was a proud Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal.  Mason was employed at Occidental Chemical for many years, retiring in 1993.  He had an extensive record collection, enjoyed listening to music, especially Big Band Sounds.  Most of all, he cherished his time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Thomas M. (Laura) Johnson, Margaret E. (Roger) Moody, Steven J. Johnson and Mary (Chiem) Secor;  his grandchildren, Christopher, Melissa, Daniel and Claire Moody, Miles, Grace and Neil Johnson, Cody and Mason Secor; his brother, Neil (late Jane) Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by one brother, William (late Betty) Johnson.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 6 from 1 - 4 P.M. at M.J.
