Matthew De Keyser, 23, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, at his residence. Born in Lewiston, NY, he was the beloved son of Mary Ann (Hukom) De Keyser.

Matthew was a student at Niagara County Community College. He was a young man with a kind heart, a bright spirit, and a gentle presence—loveable and adored by all who knew him.

He enjoyed driving, playing video games, drawing, social networking, watching movies and TV shows, and spending time with his cherished dogs, Molly and Murphy. Matthew loved being with friends and family, sharing meals, snacks, and especially seafood. His creativity, humor, and warmth made him a joy to be around, and his memory will remain a blessing to everyone whose life he touched.

In addition to his mother, Matthew is survived by his maternal grandmother, Thelma (late Mateo) Hukom; his aunt, Mary Grace Rato; his uncle, Michael (Madel) Hukom; as well as his cousins, Ryan, Breanna, Bella, Micah and Alex, as well as many dear friends.
