Obituary

Maximiliano Andrew Quaglia 29, of Pekin, NY, passed peacefully into God's loving arms on Saturday morning, January 4, 2014. Beloved son of Dianne and Michael S. Quaglia of Sacramento, CA.

Max was a very generous caring soul with many friends around the world. He was a graduate of ITT Technical with a degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Max was a brother and member of the Millwright Union 1163. Being a jack of all trades he has tinkered with the turbines of Niagara Power Project, a few of the nuclear generating stations around the state and maybe a windmill or two. Also many machines big or small in various corporations.

A loving and active father with Anabella, they enjoyed cooking, roller-skating, fishing, going on various adventures and the thrill of rollercoasters and fast rides. On many of occasions they included some of Anabella's friends, he was fearless that way. He was a model father and raised his daughter to be an equally loving child. Max was a family man and enjoyed his time with the family, long walks enjoying nature, sight-seeing places in New York and amusement parks are just a few of the things he and Monya enjoyed as a couple with the kids.

Max was a loving father, and is survived by his daughter Anabella Myriam Quaglia and to be step-son Xavier Orton. He leaves behind his love and fiancé, Monya Elizabeth Gibbs, his five older siblings, Nichol and husband Steve Banks of San Bruno, CA, Carla Lobato and fiancé Joseph Fristensky of San Cruz, CA, Michael and wife Jillian Quaglia of Amherst, NY, Brian Lobato of Berkley, CA, grandmother Phyllis Bucci of Niagara Falls, NY, niece Sophia Isabella and nephew Michael A Quaglia, Godparents, Anthony and Anita Testa of Niagara Falls, NY. Max is also survived by many aunties, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Saturday January 11th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Greg Crispell officiating.
