Melody D. (Martin) Carl, 63, of North Tonawanda, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. Born in Ransomville, NY she was the daughter of the late Arthur R., Sr. and Eleanor (Printup) Martin.

Melody was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools. On June 28, 1975 she married Daniel W. Carl, Sr. at First Baptist Church in Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased by him on September 28, 2006. Melody was a long time employee of DeFranco True Value Hardware in Niagara Falls and was currently employed as a customer service representative at Thermo-Fisher Scientific in Grand Island. Melody dedicated her life to God and to her family.

Melody is survived by two sons Daniel W. (Shannon) Carl, Jr. and Alan J. (Janet) Carl; six grandchildren Zachary, Courtney, Samantha, Caleb, Chloe and Daniel, III; two sisters Beth (late James, Sr.) Schultz and Connie (Frank) Francioli; two brothers Russell (Judith) Martin and Arthur R. (Peigi) Martin, Jr. as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one sister Jane Karnatz.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 19th at 2 p.m. at Niagara Alliance Church, 7041 Witmer Road, North Tonawanda, NY.
