Michael Anthony, 78, of Grand Island, NY, passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Angelo and Stella (Fidura) Anthony.

Mike was raised in Philadelphia, where he graduated from high school and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree. He enlisted in the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country until his honorable discharge to the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, where he continued his career for many years prior to his retirement.

Mike had a deep love for animals, especially his dogs and birds, and he held a strong and abiding love for his country.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Roslyn Anthony, whom he married on October 25, 1991. He is also survived by his brother‑in‑law, Bill (Mary) Clark, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Dolores (late Ray) Fitzgerald and Lorraine (late Tom) Safto.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 2 – 4 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.
