Michael J. Fratello, Sr., 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2022.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Dominick and Angeline (Soprano) Fratello.

Mike was a 1969 graduate of LaSalle Sr. High School, and later attended Niagara County Community College for Education.  On August 9, 1975, he married Debora A. (Piaskowski) Fratello at St. John De LaSalle Church.  Mike was employed as a Case Dock Worker for Wendt's Dairy in Niagara Falls for over 35 years.  Mike loved all animals, and enjoyed collecting model trains and reading books.  He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco Giants, and loved watching sports.  Mike also coached Girls Basketball, Softball and Soccer at LaSalle Sr. High.  He was a proud member of his Old Neighborhood Breakfast Club.  Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, and was considered a Dad and Poppie by many.

In addition to his wife of 46 years, Mike is survived by his children, Jennifer (Marc) Martucci, Amanda (Theo) Williams, and Joseph (Sarah) Fratello; his grandchildren, Cameron, Riley, Isabella, Kaden, Lucas, Connor, Mackenzie, and Arthur; his brother, Russell Fratello, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Dominic Fratello and Frederick Fratello.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J.
