Michael R. Janese, Sr., 84, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 3, 2020 in Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Pucci) Janese.

Michael was employed as a foreman for the City of Niagara Falls for over 37 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Local Steelworkers Union where he formally served as Vice President. Mike enjoyed bowling, golfing, as well as playing softball. He also enjoyed spending time in Las Vegas, and especially enjoyed sports gambling.

Mr. Janese was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia A. Janese and his second wife, Martha L. Janese; one daughter, Lauri Janese-DeMartino and one brother, Rudolph M. Janese.

He is survived by his children, Michael R. (Judith A.) Janese, Jr. and Sherri S. (late Joseph) Milone, Sr.; his beloved eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; four brothers, one sister, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery was held privately for the family on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.
