Michael P. Schlaak, 55, of Niagara Falls, passed away on March 8, 2019 at his residence.  Born on May 3 ^rd , 1963 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of Eugen W. (Isobel) Schlaak and Dagmar T. (late Frederick) Federlein.

Michael attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Catholic High School.  Mike was a skilled carpenter who framed numerous premier custom homes in Western New York for 30 years as a business partner for Schlaak Builders in the Town of Niagara.  He was passionate about computers and technology and enjoyed movies with Science Fiction and Technology themes.  Mike lived for the moment and enjoyed life to its fullest.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his brother, Andrew C. (Jade) Schlaak, his nephew, Matthew Schlaak and his niece, Alexis Schlaak.

There will be no prior visitation.  Michael's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 16 ^th at 10 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Everyone please assemble at church.  Private interment at Oakwood Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements by M.J.
