Michael A. 'Chico' Talarico, 54, of Niagara Falls, NY died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday July 12, 2009 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Peter and Janet (Musolino) Talarico of Niagara Falls, NY.
Michael attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. He later lived in Las Vegas, NV for several years, where he was the co-owner of Diamond Seal Detail Shop. After returning to Niagara Falls, Chico worked for his uncle's business Talarico Concrete in Niagara Falls. Mike was a sports enthusiast, and an avid fan of the L.A. Lakers basketball team and the Washington Redskins football team.
In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by one brother Frank (Cynthia) Talarico of Grand Island, NY; one niece Courtney Talarico, one nephew Frank Talarico, his aunts and uncles, Anthony (Corinne) Musolino of California, Richard (Pauline) Musolino, Rose (late Albert) Ventry both of Niagara Falls, NY, Eleanor (late Matthew) Albera of Pennsylvania and Carmela (Henry) Krupa of Alabama, as well as several cousins, and his beloved Labrador Retriever and best friend Blue. He was also predeceased by two uncles, Mario (Arlene of Niagara Falls, NY) Talarico and Sam (Loretta of Niagara Falls, NY) Musolino.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday July 16th at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. William Allegretto C.M. officiating. EVERYONE WILL ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
