Michele Elizabeth Quaranto Payne 66, born August 22,1954, passed away peacefully in her Sleep entering God's loving arms on February 11, 2021 in Lafayette, LA. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the beloved daughter of Myrabelle and the late Tony Quaranto, Sr.; and the devoted wife of the late Patrick Payne.

Michele is the loving mother of Sean Patrick and the late Myra; cherished sister of Anthony and Karen, James and Teresa, and Annette; dear niece of Carol Dingwall; loving sister-in-law to Frank and Sharon, Susie and Jim, Mary Jordan and Liz, and the godmother of Cheryl Dingwall Seick. She was also the loving great-auntie and aunt to her nieces and nephews, and friends with her loving cousins.

She was loved by her lifelong friends and many colleagues who knew her from attending Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, St. Teresa's, Madonna H.S. in Niagara Falls, NY. Michele worked at Jenss, Carborundum in Niagara Falls, NY, Moore Business Forms in Memphis, TN. Vermilionville and Quoseyer Inc. in Lafayette, LA.

Michele was very active in the community and volunteered her time during Hurricane Katrina at the SuperDome in New Orleans. She loved her football teams, dancing, laughter, music, and attending concerts and Mardi Gras.

The family ask that all who knew and experienced her brightness and joy to keep Michele in your thoughts and prayers. Due to current circumstances, funeral services will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
