Michele M. Reisch, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 20 ^th , 2017. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late James and Ann (McSweeny) Dann.

Michele attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1971. On August 18, 1973, she married her loving husband, Vincent Reisch, at St. Teresa's Church in Niagara Falls.

Michele was employed at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital as a Nurses Aide and was a member of their St. Francis Guild for many years until her retirement. Following her retirement, she volunteered in the gift shop at the hospital and O.L.P Nursing Care Residence. She was also a past member with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus #247.

In Michele's leisure time, she enjoyed bowling, tending to her plants and needle cross stitching. She was an avid reader and particularly enjoyed Nicholas Sparks books. She was also a talented ceramic artist and took great pride in designing baby plates and wedding plates for her friends and family.  Above all, Michele loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed family gatherings, especially on Christmas Eve. She will be deeply missed by all.

In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by her three children, Gretchen (John) Thibeault, Rebecca (Brett Tiede) Reisch and Melissa (Dennis Russell) Wright; grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Emma; siblings, Michael (Cheryl) Dann, Jeffrey (Maureen) Dann, Rosemary Dann, Kathryn (Michael) Moreland and Robert (Nancy) Dann; and her son-in-law, Ernest Wright; as well as, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also the sister-in-law of Patricia (late Mark) Benson, Marcia (Charles) Curtain, Renee Reisch, and Annette (Christopher) Sack. Michele was predeceased by her dear sister, Elizabeth (Mark) LaRoach.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22 ^nd and Tuesday, May 23 ^rd from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:30 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.
