Michele Rizzotto, 73, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Michele was the cherished daughter of the late Matthew and Antoinette (Del Gobbo) Rizzotto.

A graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Michele dedicated over 39 years of service to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where she worked as a secretary in the Medical Records and Human Resources Departments before retiring.

Michele was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner of St. Leo's Church, where she taught religious education. She was also a member of the bereavement committee, church choir and taught religious education at her former parish, Sacred Heart Church.

Michele was an avid cook and baker, and especially loved the holiday season. She was also a passionate fan of the Beatles. Michele was a world traveler who happily visited Italy, Switzerland, Greece, Paris, England, Florida, California and Las Vegas. Michele also loved spending time with her family at their cottage in Long Beach, Canada, and enjoyed planning the Del Gobbo family reunions, as well as drafting the family reunion letter.

Above all, Michele will be remembered for her generosity and caring ways. She was loved dearly by everyone and cherished the time with her family, especially while babysitting or more recently, during outings with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Michele is survived by her sister, Janet (late Harold) Donoughe; her nieces and nephews, Dawn (Gary) Prohaska, Jeffrey Donoughe, Guy M. (Karen) Mort, Wendy A. (Kevin) Gonzales and Michael A. (Renee) Mort, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews, who joyfully called her "Auntie Shell," and several cousins. She was predeceased by one sister, Angela (late Guy) Mort.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff of O.L.P Nursing Care Residence for the compassion, love and care provided to Michele.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19 from 2 – 4 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Monday, April 21 at 9:30 AM, followed by Michele's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.
