Michele (Quarantello) Sirianni, 56, of Grand Island, NY, passed away Friday December 5, 2014 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. Michele is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Sirianni, who she married on September 8, 1979 in St. Joseph Church, Niagara Falls, NY. She was the daughter of Bernardino and Helen (Oliver) Quarantello of Niagara Falls, NY.
Michele graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1976, and obtained her associate degree from Niagara County Community College, and later attended Daemen College where she studied human resources management and received her bachelor degree summa cum laude. Michele currently worked as the residency coordinator for the Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) Department at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Michele possessed a selfless and enduring love for her family. Her warm smile and caring ways will always be remembered.
In addition to her husband of thirty-five years, Joseph, and her parents, Michele is also survived by three children, Valerie L. (Timothy) Costello of East Amherst, NY, Stephen J. Sirianni of Orlando, FL, and Francis C. Sirianni of Buffalo, NY; her mother-in-law Mary (late Frank) Sirianni of Niagara Falls, NY; her siblings, Bernard Quarantello and Diane Quarantello, both of Niagara Falls, NY, Russell (Cheryl) Quarantello of Lewiston, NY, and Jean (Anthony) Pascuzzi of Niagara Falls, NY, and is also survived by and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday 2 – 4 & 6 – 9 PM and Wednesday 9 – 11 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin at 11:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Duane Klizek, officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. If desired, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 101 John J. Audubon Pky, Amherst, NY 14228.
