Michelle R. Ligammari, 76, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on March 2, 2025 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital after a brave battle with cancer. Born on April 24, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Alfred D. and Leonora (Cerminara) Ligammari.

Michelle graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1968 and earned her Associate's degree from Niagara County Community College. She worked as a legal secretary for several local attorneys and in retail security with various agencies in Niagara County and the surrounding area. Her lifelong passion was animal welfare, as evidenced by her devotion to all animals, especially her two cats. She also enjoyed collecting antiques and spending time with her family and friends.

The family wishes to thank Joseph and Cheryl Monaco for generously taking in Michelle's two kitties, keeping them together as Michelle had hoped someone would do upon her passing.

Michelle is survived by her children, Devaron (Dianna) Broeker and Terry L. (Rochele) Broeker; her grandchildren, Rhianna Broeker and Elizabeth Broeker; two brothers, Andrew A. (Ginny) Ligammari and Alfred D. (Lynn) Ligammari, II, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and one aunt. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant daughter, Vanessa Broeker in 1969.

At the request of the family, there will be no prior visitation. Private services will be held with interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.
