Angelo Barreto, 63, of Crystal River, FL formerly of Niagara Falls, NY entered into rest on Thursday August 11, 2011 at his home in Florida unexpectedly. Born November 12, 1947 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Son of the late Angel and Maria (Ramos) Barreto and Stepson of the late Victor Hernandez.

Angelo was raised and educated in Niagara Falls, NY. He moved to Florida 31 years ago where he recently retired from Veolia Water Co. as a supervisor. Angelo was also a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran.

Angelo is survived by his wife of 14 yrs Elizabeth Jones Barreto of Crystal River, Fl; two sons Mike Marshall of Las Vegas, NV and Erik Marshal of California; two stepsons Dennis Moody of Homosassa, FL and Derek Moody of Crystal River, FL; a stepdaughter Darcy Moody of GA; four sisters Alida (Frank) Barreto of Niagara Falls, NY, Rosie Sanders, Mary Blackshear both of Crystal River, FL and Carmen Potenzo of Ocala, FL; four brothers William, Omar, Angel, Annibal Barretto all of New Jersey; Sister- in- law Kathleen Barreto and Brother-in-law Raymond Ciccone both of Niagara Falls, NY. He is also survived by several grand children, nieces, nephews and cousins. Angelo was predeceased by a son Clifford Marshall, a sister Priscilla Ciccone and brother Angel (Babe) Barreto.

Visitation will be held Wednesday August 24th from 10 am – 12 pm at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a memorial service will follow at 12:00pm Noon.
