In loving memory of Mikwadazee Onkwad Jullian Thomas Hamby, also affectionately known as JT, who peacefully departed from us on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the tender age of 21. His name, which beautifully translates to Handsome Cloud, was a reflection of his serene and gentle spirit. Mikwadazee belonged to the Tuscarora Nation, Turtle Clan, and Ojibwe Wolf Clan on his father's side.

An avid athlete, Mikwadazee excelled in lacrosse, swimming, running, and various other sports, showcasing his versatility and determination. As one of seven cherished siblings, he brought boundless joy and laughter to his family, always ready with a witty remark or playful jest.

Mikwadazee possessed a remarkable blend of patience and strength, characterized by his quiet yet resilient demeanor. He pursued his academic endeavors with diligence and passion, earning diplomas in both the electronics program at the vocational school and his local high school. His dedication and ambition were evident as he aspired to join the electricians union, poised to embark on a promising career path.

Though his time with us was tragically brief, Mikwadazee leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering determination. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his spirit find eternal peace as he journeys into the great unknown.

JT is survived by his siblings DeVan(Josh), Megan, Hayes, Tosh, Quinna (Dominick) and a younger sister Nina. Mom (Jill Clause), Grandmothers (Teresa) Clause and Mona Hamby), and several cousins, aunts and uncles, niece Peyton, nephew Rowan and predeceased by his Father Jason Hamby, Grandfather Jay Clause, and Grandfather Edward Hamby.

The family will be receiving friends and loved ones at the home, 2211 Upper Mountain Rd, Sanborn NY 14132 Wednesday, February 28 and Thursday, February 29. Family and friends are invited to gather at the house on Friday, March 1 at 10 AM, followed by services at 11 AM in the Tuscarora Longhouse, 1948 Mt. Hope Rd, Lewiston NY 14092. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery on the Tuscarora Nation.

All are welcomed to join the family after the services at the Nation House, 5226 Walmore Rd Lewiston NY 14092 for a meal.
