Monica Villani, 53, of Grand Island, NY, passed away on November 22, 2023. Born in Buffalo, NY on July 15, 1970, she is the daughter of Thomas A. Maniccia and the late Mary N. (Murray) Maniccia.

Monica was raised in Lancaster, NY and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. She married her adored husband, Kurt P. Villani, at Our Lady of Pompeii Church. Monica worked at Gui's Lumber/Ace Hardware alongside her family.

Monica dedicated her life to being a devoted wife and mother.  Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her husband and children, who were her absolute pride and joy.  In addition to her father, Monica is survived by her beloved children, Mia M. Villani and Kurt P. Villani, Jr.; her siblings, Thomas Maniccia, Michelle Maniccia, Nicolas (Donna) Maniccia, Marc Maniccia, Gregory Maniccia, Peter Maniccia and Laurence (Kristen) Maniccia, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Monica and her husband, Kurt, will be held Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072.
