Myriam D. (Witt) Lewis, 59, of the Town of Niagara died on Friday January 28, 2011 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Hamburg, Germany she was the daughter of Helga (Isaacsohn) Witt of Wheatfield, NY and the late Herbert Witt.

Myriam graduated from North Tonawanda High School and later attended cosmetology school. On April 12, 1975 she married Daniel R. Lewis in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Lewis predeceased her on July 1, 2009. Myriam was a self employed beautician and worked in Niagara Falls, NY. She also worked as a bartender at Lou's Lounge, T NT's Hair O' the Dog and Towne Restaurant all in Niagara Falls. She was a member of the LaSalle Sportsmen's Club and the Buff Social Club both in the Town of Niagara. Myriam enjoyed traveling with her friends, but most of all she liked spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, Myriam is survived by three sons Brian Daniel Lewis; Christopher Scott (Melanie) Lewis both of Las Vegas, NV and Nicholas Stephen (Jean) Lewis of Niagara Falls, NY; two grandchildren Daniel William Lewis and Joshua David Lewis and was eagerly awaiting two more grandchildren later this year; three brothers Norbert (Linda) Witt, Peter (Shelly) Witt and Thomas Witt all of North Tonawanda, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will be held on Monday January 31st at 11 a.m. with Robert Fink officiating. Interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
