Nancy E. (Albion) Martinez, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Saturday April 21, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Pietra (Lilla) Albion.

Nancy moved to the Niagara Falls, NY as a young child with her family. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Nancy worked as a clerk at the former Trapasso's 5 & 10 store in Niagara Falls during the 1940's. On September 5, 1942 she married Victor A. Martinez in Meridian, MS. Mr. Martinez predeceased her on May 16, 2005. Nancy was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Martinez is survived by a daughter Gloria (late William) McMurray of Town of Niagara, NY; four grandchildren, Michael Paul (Christine) Riscilli, Matthew Joseph (Kathleen) Riscilli, Heather (Jeffrey) Roberston, Charles (Moy) McMurray; nine great-grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Elliana Riscilli, Andrew and Benjamin Riscilli, Sara and Caleb Robertson, Jasmine and Marco McMurray; a sister Carolyn (late Philip) Colaprete of St. Mary's, PA; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Carl (Violet of Lewiston, NY) Albion, Arthur (late Sophie) Albion, Joseph (late Emily) Albion, Beatrice (late James) Mazzu, Cesar Albion, and Agathon (late Mona) Albion.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 25th at 10 AM with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
