Nancy Mills, 85, of Annapolis, MD and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie (McDonald) Mills.

Nancy was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic Schools in Niagara Falls. She worked in banking locally for many years, beginning in 1956 with Marine Midland Banks and ending with her retirement from HSBC in 1994. She was also a longtime volunteer at Harry F. Abate Elementary School.

Prior to moving to Annapolis, MD to be closer to her family, she lived in St. Petersburg, FL since the late 1990s and enjoyed her retirement by the beach with many beloved friends. Nancy will be dearly missed by many cherished family members and friends.

Nancy is the sister of Ellen M. (late George) (Mills) Dooher and Patricia L. Mills; aunt of Meghan (Dooher) Robb and husband Kevin E. Robb (CDR, USN RET); great aunt of Edward (Teddy) Robb, Catherine (Cate) Robb; and cousin of the late Carol Scott, Thomas Scott, late Thomas Dawson, late Eileen (Dawson) Murphy, and Carol (Dawson) Fourie.

She was predeceased by her grandmother, Lucille Mills, and her aunts, Maggie Woodcock, Annie Stevens, Frances McDonald and Eileen Dawson, who were all family blessings in her life.

The family will be present on Saturday, February 3 from 9 - 10 AM at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 237 4th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303, where Nancy's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will follow privately for Nancy's family. In lieu of flowers, if wished, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
