Nancy M. Plumeri, 85, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 31, 2026. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Madeline (Polaster) Colosi and daughter-in-law of the late Stephen C. and Arleen (Rotella) Plumeri, and beloved wife of the late Angelo Robert “Bobby” Plumeri, who predeceased her on March 14, 2004 after 43 years of marriage.

Nancy attended 17th Street School, St. Joseph’s School, where she sang in the choir, St. Mary’s, where she played basketball, and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School in 1958. A devoted homemaker, Nancy cherished family gatherings. She loved fashion, shopping, music, dancing, watching Jeopardy, and solving word puzzles. Nancy’s kitchen was legendary — family and friends remember her sauces, meatballs, homemade chicken soup, and Italian cookies. Nancy’s precious great-grandchildren gave her the utmost joy later in her life.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Christine Plumeri and Janine (Joseph) Bellonte and son, Stephen Plumeri; her grandchildren, Carli Angela Plumeri, Elizabeth (Mark) DelMonte, and Erica Nancy (Devon) Amado; her great‑grandchildren, Gianluca, Marlena, and Bianca DelMonte and Sofia Amado. She is also survived by her dear brother, Jerry (Patricia) Colosi, her sisters-in-law, Sharon (late Stephen C.) Plumeri and Sandra (late Anthony) D’Eloia, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins, and the beloved family dogs, Banjo and Sugar. She also leaves behind many loving family members and friends who will always remember her beautiful smile, warm laugh, and kind eyes.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by siblings, Peter (late Jane) Colosi, Ronald (late Helga) Colosi, and Robert “Pinky” Colosi.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 4 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304. Nancy’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 5 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
