Natalina (Martini) Fracassi, 100, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Friday June 26, 2009 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Aprigliano, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Maria (Vigna) Martini.

Natalina was educated in Italy. In 1951 she immigrated to Canada and later came to Niagara Falls, NY where she currently resided. She was a longtime devout member of St. Joseph Church as well as their Madonna Del Perpetuo Soccorso Society. In her leisure time, Natalina enjoyed crocheting, knitting and gardening.

Mrs. Fracassi was predeceased by her husband John J. Fracassi on November 15, 1980. She is survived by one son, Anthony J. Fracassi of Niagara Falls, NY and was predeceased by one daughter Rose (late John) Chiochio. She is also survived by four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two sisters Angelina (late Sam) Covelli and Rose (late Albert) Perri both of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, one brother Pasquale (late Angelina) Martini of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by three brothers Ralph Martino, Salvatore (Giovene of Niagara Falls, NY) Martini and Frank (late Mary) Martini.

Friends may call on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON FUNERAL CHAPEL, 468 19TH STREET, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday June 29 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. William Allegretto C.M. officiating. Interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
