Nathan James Brundage, 19, of the Town of Niagara passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Hospice Buffalo following a courageous battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. Born in Amherst, NY he was the son of Mark N. Brundage of Tonawanda, and Angela R. (nee Ross) Price, and step-son of Aaron Price of the Town of Niagara.

Nathan attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and completed the Orleans-Niagara BOCES EMT Program. Nate was employed by the Town of Lewiston's Recreation Department and also worked at Delta Sonic Car Wash and Fortuna's Restaurant. Nate served as an interior firefighter and trustee with Lewiston #2 Volunteer Fire Company while concentrating on his long term goal of one day becoming a full time firefighter. Nate was a member of the Young Marines in charge of their color guard and was promoted to the rank of Corporal. Nate was a dedicated volunteer and the proud recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, which he was given for more than 150 hours of community service. Nate was a passionate hunter and avid Buffalo Bills fan. He enjoyed listening to country music and most of all loved being with his dog, "Angel".

In addition to his parents, Nathan will be dearly missed by his brother, Matthew M. Brundage, his sister Alyssa R. Price, his grandparents, Carol Iannello and Joann (late Gerald) Brundage, his aunts and uncles, Shannon (Gary) Favorite, Lisa (John) Jaracz, Phylicia Bain, Barbara Povinelli, Laura Panowicz and Steven Ross, his dear friends, Laura and Kyle Gleason, John Collins and Garrison and Tara Sanborn, as well as many loving cousins. He was also predeceased by his maternal grandfather Angelo Ross.

Visitation will be on Monday from 2 – 8 p.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 11th at 10 a.m. Interment at the convenience of the family will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
