Neil A. Schiro, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully at Safire Rehabilitation at Southtowns in Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the beloved son of the late Nicholas and Jennie Schiro.

Neil was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School. He later married the love of his life, Antoinette (Antonucci) Schiro, and together they raised their two children in the city they proudly called home.

For many years, Neil served as a Union Painter for the City of Niagara Falls, a career he deeply loved and took great pride in. His dedication to his craft was remarkable, continuing his work until his retirement at the age of 82.

Neil was a longtime member of the Century Club, where he and his family enjoyed countless summers together. He also loved traveling, spending time with his loved ones, and cheering for the Buffalo Bills.

Above all, Neil devoted his life to his family. He treasured every moment spent with them and found profound purpose in caring for his ailing wife throughout her illness until her passing. His loyalty, strength and love will be remembered always.

Neil is survived by his daughter, Rene (Al Crumpton) Bauer, his granddaughter, Nichole (Ainsley) Bauer; his brother, Ronnie (late Phyllis) Schiro, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was sadly predeceased by his son, Jerry (late Colleen) Schiro and his grandson, Michael Schiro.
