Nellie J. (Corsini) De Rubeis, 80, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Alessandrina Corsini.

Nellie was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On January 24, 1953 she married Fernando De Rubeis at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. From the mid 1960's until the mid 1970's Nellie owned and operated DeRubeis Realty in Niagara Falls and later worked at General Motors Harrison Radiator Division in Lockport, NY as a supervisor until retiring in the early 1990's. Nellie loved cooking and going to the casino. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nellie also enjoyed and looked forward to her numerous daily conversations with her cousin Marie.

In addition to her husband of sixty two years, Nellie is survived by one son Fernando 'Fred' De Rubeis of Niagara Falls, NY; two grandchildren Nina De Rubeis of Ransomville, NY and Fred (Stephanie Craft) De Rubeis of Niagara Falls, NY; two great grandsons Tyler and Anthony De Rubeis. She was the sister-in-law of Silvio and Marcia De Rubeis of the Town of Niagara, aunt of Silvio (Francine) De Rubeis, great aunt of Maria Knoebel and Silvio De Rubeis III and former mother-in-law of Sharon (Gil) Paul. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Nellie was predeceased by two sisters Rondina (late Ercole 'Arky') Ferrusi, Sara (Thomas of Niagara Falls, NY) Daniels and one brother Salvatore Corsini.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday August 17th at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
