Obituary

Nicholas A. "Nick" Martinucci, 52, of Niagara Falls, NY. Passed away at his residence Saturday November 6, 2010 while under the care of Niagara Hospice and surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the Son of Donald (Donna) Martinucci of Niagara Falls,NY and the late Irene (Shimel) Martinucci.

Nick graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. He married Lori (Cirrito) Martinucci May 11, 1991 in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Niagara Falls, NY. Nick worked as an auto mechanic for his family's business Marty's Mobile located in Niagara Falls, NY. He also worked for the former Stratcor and Rides Unlimited as a mechanic both of NF, NY.

During Nick's spare time he was an avid racing fan who enjoyed going to Ransomville speedway and building many stock cars in the area. Nick also enjoyed wrestling, camping, watching Nascar but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, friends and his dog Babes.

In addition to his father and wife, Nick is survived by three brothers Joseph (Kim Lewis) Martinucci , Daniel (Leslie) Martinucci, Anthony (Carrie Cooper) Martinucci and one sister Lori Galley all of NF, NY. He is also survived by his grandmother Lena (late Ariple) Martinucci of NF, NY. His aunts and uncles Louise (Frank) Mannarino of NF, NY,John Shimel, Karen (Buzz) English and the late Richard(late Kathy) Shimel. Nieces and nephews Amy, Joey, Olivia, Vinny, Ashley, Toni, Marteea and Ryan Martinucci; Eric Banks, Jeffrey and Selena Perry. Father in law and mother in law Lawrence and Chris Cirrito of NF. He is survived by his brothers in law and sisters in law Johnny (Anne) Cirrito, Cheryl Shanks, Robin (Jerry) Brydges, best friend and brother in law Joseph L. Cirrito, Paul (Linda) Cirrito, Jackie Buchalski, Mike (Jen) Cirrito and the late Lawrence Cirrito and Christopher Cirrito. Nick is also survived by several Cirrito aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins from both sides of the family.

Visitation for family and friends will begin Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI AND SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held at 9:15 A.M. on Tuesday November 9th followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church corner of 27th and Independence Avenue, NF, NY. with the Rev. Stewart Lindsay OSFS officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, NF. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Jonah Center for cancer care ECMC Room 850,462 Grider St, Buffalo, NY14215 or Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
