Nicholas J. Munsen, 23, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY following a five month battle with cancer. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Shawn Munsen and Maria (Gioannini) Munsen.

Nicholas was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. He graduated from Niagara County Community College in 2014 where he earned an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Nicholas had a passion for playing video games, but above all he loved spending time at home with his daughter.

In addition to his parents, Nicholas is also survived by the love of his life, Sarah Perkins, and their daughter Alice Munsen, two brothers, Nino Munsen and Nunzio Munsen; his maternal grandmother, Kathleen (Augustino) (late Steve) Gioannini; his father and mother in-law, Rev. Mark and Anne Perkins, as well as many other close family members.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 29th from 4 – 6 p.m. at St. Leo's Church 2748 Military Road Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Mark Perkins officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alice Munsen Trust Fund. Arrangements by M.J.
