Nicolena H. Weed of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Memorial Hospital.  Born on February 10, 1931 in Niagara Falls, NY, daughter of the late John and Elvira (DiPlacido) DelGobbo. Nicolena was predeceased by her husband, Theodore S. Weed on November 16, 2001.

Nicolena resided in Niagara Falls all her life and attended local schools. She was first to have a perfect score on the New York State regent's math exam. Nicolena was a devout Catholic and attended church regularly. She was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed being a part of the bereavement program. She enjoyed playing cards with cousins and friends but above all, spending time with her family.

Nicolena is survived by her children, Theodore (Gina) Weed, Lynn (Jim) Perry and Brenda (Michael) Hout; she is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Nicolena was predeceased by siblings.

Visitation will begin on Monday, January 13 ^th from 4 – 8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD, NF, NY, where prayers will begin on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by Nicolena's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N.
