Nimfa M. DeLorenzo, 94, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on July 14, 2023 at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Eugenio and Nicolina DeLorenzo.

Nimfa was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Niagara County Community College in registered nursing degree in 1980 and worked as a private duty nurse and as a nurse for The Diocese of Buffalo until her retirement.  Nimfa was very active in the Catholic Church.  She loved flower gardening, sewing, making clothing, and drawing.

Nimfa is survived by her lifelong friends, Janice (Arthur) Garabedian, Linda Garabedian, and Malorie Garabedian, as well as by several cousins.  She was predeceased by her brother, Eugene (late Jean) DeLorenzo.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22 from 10 AM – 12 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 12 PM.  Private interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to Catholic Charities.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
