Noela L. (Nolan) Collins, 95 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday January 13, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born in Brownsburg, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late George Nolan and Helen (Dumoulin) Nolan-Desabrais, and step-daughter of the late Nazaire Desabrais.

Noela moved to Niagara Falls and a young child with her family and attended local schools. In 1942 she married Daniel J. Collins. Mr. Collins predeceased her in 1985. Noela loved tending to her garden, but above all, she centered her life on her family.

Noela is survived by her children, Robert (Karen) Collins of Naples, FL, Patricia (Lloyd) Niven of Niagara Falls, Ontario, James Collins of Niagara Falls, Joseph (Susan) Collins of Lewiston, Kathleen (John) Martin of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Mark (Darlene) Collins of Youngstown and was predeceased by one son Stephen (Jim of Oregon) Collins. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Ray (Mae) Nolan, Alias (late Marjorie) Nolan, Albert (late Theresa) Nolan, Gerald Nolan, Maryann (late John) O'Shea, Dorothy (late Marvin) Bradum, Yvette (late Peter) Radowsky and Laura (late John) Deters.

Mrs. Collin's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence for the loving and compassionate care given to Noela during her time there.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 - 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Raphael's Church 3840 Macklem Avenue Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. If desired memorial offerings may be made to the Salvation Army PO Box 148
