Norma K. Fulp, of Lewiston, NY, entered eternal rest on July 25, 2011. Born in Winston Salem, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Paul Fulp and Evelyn A. Stephan. Following her marriage, Norma moved to the Niagara Falls area where she has lived until the present time. She was a graduate of Niagara County Community College, where she earned a degree in Nursing and Humanities. She was employed at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston and as a substitute school nurse in the Niagara Wheatfield School District. She was also a business woman operating a bed and breakfast for many years. Norma had a love for people and the arts. She was a volunteer up until her death at her beloved Artpark, and also with the Buffalo Philharmonic and Niagara Tourism Convention Corp where she was a greeter.

MS. Fulp is survived by her six children, Fred 'Sam' Battaglia, Jr. (Margie) of Durham, NC, Cathy Thomas of Niagara Falls, NY, Brenda Rausher (Joe) of Parma, OH, Paul Battaglia (Pam) of Graham, NC, Christine Graham (Grady) of North Port, FL and Noreen Battaglia (Rick Morsell) of Charlotte, NC, fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, her brothers and sister , George Fulp (Suzanne) of Wichita, KS, Ted Fulp of Oklahoma City, OK, Arnold Edwards (Janice Foster) of Lewisville, NC and Fran Franklin (Bland) of Midlothian, VA, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one brother 'Junior' Fulp, and her great-grandson, Jazavier.

There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Norma's life will be held on Saturday July 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Alumni Chapel of Niagara University with Rev. Bruce Krause officiating. Interment will be in Lewisville Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisville, NC at the convenience of the family.
