Olga H. Eliseo, 99, of Grand Island, NY, passed away at her residence on March 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family while under the care of Hospice Buffalo. Born in Oakfield, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ottavio and Ida (Ianni) Eliseo.

Olga came to the Niagara Falls area as a child with her family. She was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and later attended Bryant & Stratton Business Institute. She was employed for 45 years as an Executive Secretary in the Application Engineering Department at Carborundum Corporation in Niagara Falls until the plant’s closure. She then worked for 12 years as the head of the credit union at American Brass in Buffalo, NY, until her retirement. Olga had a strong work ethic and truly loved to work.

In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and spending time at a cottage in Ontario with her girlfriends. She was an avid gardener, loved canning, making pasta, and traveling—particularly her two trips to Italy and her visits to Las Vegas. Highly intelligent and deeply religious, Olga was a current member of St. Stephen R.C. Church on Grand Island and a former member of St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. She cherished the time she spent with her family.

Olga is survived by her sister, Ines (late Caesar) Capone, and her brother, Richard (late Portia) Eliseo; her nieces and nephew, Cathy (late Walter) Harris, Linda (late Richard) Engelbrecht, and Gary Capone (fiancée Linda Mangus); along with many great‑nieces, great‑nephews, great‑great‑nieces, great‑great‑nephews, cousins, and (little sister) Joanne Roscetti.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice Buffalo for their kind and compassionate care shown to Olga, Ines, and their caregivers.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, from 4–7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Olga’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 23, at 12:30 PM at St. Stephen R.C. Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072. Everyone please assemble at church. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
