Olive "Olga" (Patricko) Toscani, 90, passed away Friday April 15, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Johnstown, PA she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Cheplinsky) Patricko.

On October 28, 1939 she married Dino Toscani in Pennsylvania and together moved to the Niagara Falls area in the early 1940's. Mr. Toscani predeceased her on July 26, 1981. Olga completed her education in nursing at Trott Vocational School in Niagara Falls, NY. She worked as a nurse in the OB-GYN department at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center from the early 1960's until her retirement in 1982. Olga along with her husband, Dino, also owned and operated the Miniature Falls Restaurant on 27th St. and Ferry Ave. in Niagara Falls until 1963. An avid follower of current events, she especially enjoyed watching CNN. Most importantly, she was a loving person who centered her life on the care of her family.

Mrs. Toscani is survived by her two children Daniel (Nancy) Toscani of Deer Park, NY and Elaine (Lawrence) Morreale of Lewiston, NY; two grandchildren Joseph (Cynthia) Morreale and Nicholas (Kathleen) Morreale; two great-grandchildren Jonathan and Haley; three sister-in-laws Clara (late Andrew) Scipione of Maryland, Geraldine (late Patsy) Scipione of Niagara Falls, NY, and Eve (late William) Capretti of Columbia, SC, and many nieces and nephews. Olga was predeceased by three sisters Katherine (late John) Melnick, Mary (late Albert) Koontz, Julia (late John) Glover, and three brothers Jonas (late Adele) Patricko, Joseph (late Irma) Patricko, and Andrew (late Anna) Patricko, and one sister-in-law Lena (late Pio) Poeta.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Tuesday April 19th at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th St. and Independence Ave, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara University Scholarship Fund, 5795 Lewiston Rd, Niagara University, NY 14109 or Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, 5285 Lewiston Rd. Lewiston, NY 14092.
