Oscar H. Perez, 69, of Oxnard, CA, passed away on December 11, 2024 at St. John's Regional Medical Hospital in Oxnard, CA.  Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, he was the son of the late Jose Armando Perez and Maria Felicita Ramirez.

Oscar attended schools in El Salvador, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Languages.  He came to the United States in 1976.  In 1990, he married the love of his life, Francine (Paul) Perez in Niagara Falls, NY.  Oscar was employed for 23 years as a Warehouse Supervisor for Rockwood Pigments in Los Angeles, CA until his retirement in 2024.

Oscar enjoyed golfing, and was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers – "Go Dodgers".  He had a strong connection with children, treating them with warmth and kindness which in turn made children adore him.  Oscar will be remembered most as being a generous, kind man that was always happy and smiling and saw the world through a child's eyes.

In addition to his wife of 34 years, Oscar is survived by his daughter, Anna Garcia-Perez, 1 sister, 3 brothers, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.  He was sadly predeceased by his daughter, Emily Perez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30 from 10 – 12 PM at M.J.
