Palmira 'Ginger' Antonucci, 87, of Wheatfield, NY, passed away at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY on Friday November 23, 2012. Born in Gorizia, Italy and raised in Solcano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Sfiligoi) Jug.
Palmira married Frank Antonucci on April 8, 1972 in St. Joseph's Church in Niagara Falls, NY. She was employed with Stella's Tot's to Teen's in Niagara Falls, NY as a sales clerk from 1957 until her retirement in 1993. Palmira enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Along with her husband Frank , Palmira is survived by her daughter Donna (Edward) Adamski of Wheatfield, NY, two granddaughters, Denise Adamski and Darlene (Ken) Redmond, one great granddaughter, Adrianna Redmond and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband John Campbell. Palmira is also survived and predeceased by siblings in Italy and Australia.
There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services were conducted with entombment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
