Paradisa (Zuccari) Eugeni, 100, formerly of 23rd Street, Niagara Falls, NY died on Tuesday September 1, 2009 at Elderwood Health Care at Crestwood in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Cesacastina, Province of Teramo, Italy she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Francesca (D'Angelo) Zuccari. She was predeceased by her husband Luigi Eugeni in 1980.

Paradisa was educated in Italy and at the age of 18 she immigrated to the United States and settled in the Niagara Falls, NY area where she lived until the present time. During the late 1920's and early 1930's she was employed at the former Niagara Searchlite in Niagara Falls. Paradisa was an excellent cook and also enjoyed singing opera and Italian songs and would often sing at wedding receptions for various friends. Paradisa centered her life on her family and she especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Eugeni is survived by two sons Pat (Marcia) Eugeni of the Town of Niagara and Frank (late Loretta) Eugeni of Niagara Falls, NY; five grandchildren Frank Eugeni, Jr., Cindy (Joe) Maniscalco, Lisa Walck, Michelle (Marc) Graff and Anthony (Denise) Eugeni; eight great grandchildren Rachel Walck, Randy Walck, Mathew Eugeni, Angela Eugeni, Gabriella Graff, Marc Graff, Patrick Eugeni and Cara Eugeni; two sisters Emma (late Joseph) Siracuse and Paula (late Mario) Cortellini both of Niagara Falls, NY; one brother Mario (late Elia) Zuccari of Bergholtz, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers Frank (late Teresa) Zuccari and Louis (Marie of California) Zuccari.

Friends may call on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday September 4th at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
