Pasquale Alberico, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY died unexpectedly on Saturday December 27, 2008 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Sulmona, Abruzzo, Italy he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Silla) Alberico.

Pasquale was educated in Italy, and served in the Italian Army during World War II. On May 9, 1953 he married Anna (Mastrogiuseppe) Alberico in Italy, and moved to Niagara Falls with their family in 1965. Pasquale was a member of the Cristoforo Columbo Society in Niagara Falls, NY and enjoyed gardening and soccer. Most importantly, his life was centered on his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of fifty-five years, Pasquale is survived by two daughters Maria (Paul) Accardo of Grand Island, NY and Josephine (fiancé Steven Adams) Alberico of Mint Hill, NC; two grandchildren Steven Accardo and Alyssa Accardo; a sister Angelina (late Carmine) Mastrogiuseppe of Providence, RI and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters Giovanna (late Panfilo) DeLuca and Carmela (late Antonio) DelSignore.

Friends may call on Friday from 3 – 7 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS NY where funeral services will begin on Saturday January 3rd, 2009 at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls NY. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
