Obituary

Patricia A. Masters, 76, of Calabash, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on January 4th, 2019. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the loving daughter of the late Andrew and Julia (Sudik) McLaughlin. In 1959, she married her beloved husband Paul Masters, who passed away on May 13th, 2015 after 56 memorable years together.

While living in Niagara Falls and later Rochester NY, Pat and her husband had an active life golfing, visiting friends, and showing dogs. Throughout her life, she cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren and especially enjoyed hosting family gatherings.  The couple were snowbirds for many years and upon retirement moved to Calabash North Carolina.  Pat made many new and special friends, gardened often, and loved the warm weather and beaches. She was an active member of the Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church and found faith and support there that held her up during her final illness.
Patricia is survived by her children Phillip A. (Susan) Masters and Kelly A. Masters (Rosina Cieri); her grandchildren, Samantha Marrero, Ross Masters, Nathan Masters, Phillip J. Masters and Saraphina Masters; one great-grandson CJ Marrero; and her nieces and nephews, Diane (Nick) Frederes, Linda (Mae) Warren and William Scozzafava. She was predeceased by her siblings Alice, Charlene and Andrew.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, January 12 th at 1:00 P.M. in Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church, 1091 Hickman Road, Calabash, NC 28467.
