Patrick M. DeLuca, 36, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of Pasquale and Lorraine (Cupp) DeLuca.
Patrick was a graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School and also obtained his certification from the Minnesota Diving Institute. Pat worked as an underwater welder in Louisiana, and later returned to Western New York to continue working as a welder at Hohl Industrial. Most recently, Patrick was employed at Niagara Metals as a welding mechanic.
Pat was a devoted father, son, brother and uncle. His daughter, Gianna was his utmost pride and joy. They cherished the times spent together, especially when bike riding and rollerblading.
Pat was an avid sports fan, and an excellent hockey player in his younger years while competing on the Niagara-Wheatfield High School hockey team and various local travel teams. He was also an exercise and body building fanatic, as well as a motocross fan.
In addition to his parents and daughter, Patrick is also survived by his sister, Alesia DeLuca, his nieces and nephews, Kayleigh, Madison and Griffin; his paternal grandmother, Regina DeLuca; Gianna's mother, Jen Bari, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 9 from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Patrick's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls.
