Patrick J. Freeman, 71, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on August 30, 2020 at Buffalo General Hospital.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Michael R. and Eleanor J. (Guiton) Freeman.

Pat attended Niagara County Community College and Niagara University.  On August 9, 1975, he married Jessica (Mazza) Freeman.  Pat was employed for 23 years as a Niagara County Sheriff's Deputy prior to his retirement.  Most recently, he escorted heavy equipment for M&T Escorts and ran his own snowplow business during the winters.

Pat enjoyed sports cars, golfing, watching the New York Yankees, and always keeping an eye on the weather.  In addition, he was an avid hockey player in his younger years, and enjoyed hunting on his family farm in Pennsylvania.  He was very dedicated to his work, but above all, he loved his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren. Every conversation he had with people began with showing them pictures of his grandkids, who he never grew tired of showing off.

In addition to his wife, Jessica, of 45 years, Pat is survived by his daughters, Katie (William) Kutis and Marnie (Rosario) Mancuso; his grandchildren, Ella Kutis, Evan Kutis, Brooke Mancuso and Mazza Mancuso; his siblings, Diane (late Victor) Halinski, Daniel (Mary) Freeman, and Mary (late Steve) DePalma, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brother, Michael J. Freeman, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16 from 4 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Pat's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on September 17 at 10 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, 14304.   Everyone please assemble at church.
