Patrina (Lore) Cafarella, 86, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Monday February 21, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Angelica Lore.

Patrina attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed as an office clerk at the former Jenss Department Store on Main Street in Niagara Falls, NY for thirty years. Prior to that she worked as a sales associate at Tattler's Lane Bridal Shop also in Niagara Falls, NY. When her children were young, Patrina was a member of the Mother's Club at the former Sacred Heart School. She was an excellent cook and especially loved to cook Sunday dinner for her family. On July 9, 1995, she was predeceased by her husband of nearly fifty years, Joseph A. Cafarella, Sr. who she married on June 1, 1946 in Niagara Falls, NY.

Patrina is survived by three children Joseph A. Cafarella, Jr., Gail (William) Hanner both of Niagara Falls, NY and Frank Cafarella of Cleveland, OH; seven grandchildren Joseph III, Jeffrey, Amy, Adrienne, Justin, Amanda and Frank Jr., six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters Dominic (late Josephine) Lore, Frank (late Eva) Lore, Lena (late Edward) Masterson and Rose (late Guy) Maglio.

Visitation will be on Wednesday February 23rd from 5 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Private entombment at the convenience of the family will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
