Patsy Ciccarelli, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday June 23, 2010 surrounded by his family at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Patsy, the son of the late Samuel and Sarah (Barone) Ciccarelli, was born in Oakfield, NY and came to the Niagara Falls area as a child with his family.

Mr. Ciccarelli was a member of Laborers Local 91 and worked as a job superintendent for the Albert Elia Building Company in Niagara Falls for over 40 years. During the Korean War he served in the United States Army stationed in Italy. While in the Army he was a boxer in the Senior Welter division and won many bouts. On September 9, 1951 he married Norma E. (Daveggia) Ciccarelli in Trieste, Italy. Patsy was also an avid golfer and enjoyed watching New York Yankee baseball.

In addition to his wife, Patsy is survived by his children Patricia (Bart) DeRosa, Cynthia Ciccarelli, Patrick (Barrie) Ciccarelli all of Niagara Falls, and was predeceased by his infant daughter Betty Marie Ciccarelli. He is also survived by his grandchildren Bart DeRosa, Breanna Ciccarelli, Kristi Ciccarelli, and Patrick Ciccarelli; one great-grandson David; his sister Betty Martinez of West Seneca, NY and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his three brothers Casper (late Mary Ann) Ciccarelli, John "Jack" (Marge of Wheatfield, NY) Ciccarelli, and Anthony Ciccarelli.

Visitation Saturday June 26th from 2 – 6:30 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services with military honors will immediately follow at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Duane Klizek, officiating. Entombment at St. Joseph Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. Flowers are graciously declined. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
