Patsy J. Pullano, age 95, passed away on Friday, July 25th at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born December 10, 1918 in Piffard, New York to parents Dominic & Margaret (Gallo) Pullano. On May 1, 1946 he married Antoinette (Cornacchia) in St. Joseph's Church, recently celebrating 68 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife Antoinette, he is survived by his children Patricia (Richard) Jensen of Lewiston, Kathleen (James) McDonough of Seattle, WA, Nancy (Daniel) Penale of Grand Island, Thomas (Kyoko) Pullano of Inglewood, CA and Marybeth DiCamillo of Wheatfield. He was predeceased by his son Robert Pullano. He is also survived by his grandchildren Michael (Christine) Belin, Daniel (Carri) Penale, Jr., Megan (Nicholas) Hill, Marissa DiCamillo and Julia Pullano, and great-grandchildren, Trey Penale, Ellie Belin & Thomas Belin. Also survived by brother Dominic (late Peggy) Pullano and sister-in-law Patricia (late Jack) Pullano. He was predeceased by brothers Joseph (late Francis), Jack (Pat) of Grand Island, Frank, Anthony (late Marion) and sisters Josephine (late Fred) Soprano, Sara (late Arthur) Muzzillo and Mary Contreras. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Patsy was employed by E.I.DuPont as a Chemical Operator for over 40 years. He was also in the US Army, 231st AAF Base Unit from 1942 through 1945. Patsy was active with St. Joseph's Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister. For many years he was a volunteer at St. Mary's Manor and Our Lady of Peace, the very place he was a resident for the past 2 years. Anyone who knew Patsy knew how he adored his grandchildren and loved his New York Yankees.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 28th at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY from 3:00 - 7:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 29th at 10:00 am at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph Church, St. Joseph site, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT THE CHURCH. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association WNY Chapter, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221.
