Patsy Scarano, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday September 23, 2009 at N. F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Vitantonio and Pasqualina (Magno) Scarano.

Patsy was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools including Niagara Falls High School. He worked as a laborer at various area construction sites through Laborers' Local 91 from 1959 until his retirement in 1986. Patsy enjoyed listening to all types of music, his favorite being music from the 50's. He also liked meeting with his friends for coffee and will be remembered as a very caring person.

Patsy is survived by three sisters Elena (late Nello) Ciuffetelli of Long Beach, CA; Antoinette Scarano of Niagara Falls, NY and Rose (Richard) White of Long Beach, CA; one brother Michael Scarano of Niagara Falls, NY and his nieces and nephews Nella Marie Chiodo, Lucia Ciuffetelli, Edward Powers, Michael Scarano, and Rebecca Scarano.

Friends may call on Sunday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY at the convenience of the family. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Mr. Scarano's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
