IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patti Ann
Lumia Zeni Linza
June 14, 2021
Patti Ann Lumia Zeni Linza, 67, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. Born August 19, 1953, she was the first of three daughters of Ercole "Eric" and Joyce (Foster) Lumia.
Patti graduated from Madonna High School in 1971 and attended Niagara County Community College. She was employed by the Diamond Wheel from 1976 to 1980, as well as the Carborundum Company. In August of 1980, she began her 23-year career with USPS as a distribution clerk. In 1995, she obtained her license as a Massage Therapist from the New York Institute of Massage and began her very fulfilling vocation in Massage Therapy. She brought an intense level of care and spirituality and became known as a gifted healer to many of her clients. In addition to the traditional Swedish massage, Patti added other modalities to her practice, such as reflexology, second degree Reiki II, ear candling, and therapeutic touch.
After an early retirement from the Post Office, Patti worked as a before school care aide. From an early age, she volunteered as a Catechist for various Catholic Churches, and also volunteered as a facilitator for LINK, a support group for divorced Christians, where she formed many special friendships. Patti was devout Catholic and member of several prayer groups including the Sacred Heart group. She was also a member of the American Body Workers Association and the Reflexology Association.
Patti enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and quilling Italian paper filigree art. She was well regarded as an extra ordinary cook who loved to try out new recipes at large parties with her many friends. She was also interested in studies of adjunctive medical modalities and energy medicine.
Her fervent desire was for the first thought to come to mind at the mention of her name and she was a loving, devoted mother. Her ultimate joy and love of her life was her son, Eric Anthony Zeni, Esq. She glowed with pride at his every successful endeavor. She was DA MAMMA to her fluffy furry friends, Irish and Jada.
Mrs. Linza is survived by her son, Eric Anthony (Michelle) Zeni, Esq.; her husband, Francis "Frank" Anthony Linza, Jr., her grandchildren, Gianluca and Valentina Zeni; her sisters, Laurene D. (Ronald) Winkley, Diane M. (Joseph) Riggi and their children, Joseph A. Riggi and Michael A. Riggi; and one goddaughter, Erica Marie Riggi. She was exceptionally close to her nephew, Brandon Robert Winkley and Amanda Rose Winkley; her cousin and dear friend, Edward F. Russo and her Aunt Clara (Frank) Fostin. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her uncle and Godfather, Angelo R. Lumia, and her former husband Fiorenzo L. Zeni.
Mrs. Linza wished to be remembered as a strong woman of gentle spirit with great faith in the resurrection and everlasting life.
