Paul F. Kaczowski, "PK", 64, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Friday August 10, 2012 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Rosemary (Polito) Kaczowski of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Paul F. Kaczowski.
Paul attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. During the Vietnam War served with United States Army, 12th Infantry, 4th Division in Vietnam. As part of his service as a combat infantryman, Paul sustained ground action under enemy fire and fought in the 1968 Tet Offensive and also served in the forward area of Hill 990 near the Cambodian border.
In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by his special friend, Linda Houser; three brothers Peter (Cindy) Kaczowski of Niagara Falls, NY, Kyle (Linda) Kaczowski of San Diego, CA, and Jon (Jennifer) Kaczowski of Las Vegas, NV; nephews Michael, Zachary, Paul, and Nicholas Kaczowski; his special cousin Sally Ziolek, who was always there for Paul; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday August 16th at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo Church, 2748 Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Andrew Lauricella, officiating. Military honors will conclude the services at church. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094. Arrangements by M.J.
