Paul C. Maikranz, 32, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday June 5, 2012. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada he was the son of Paul F. and Kathy (Volpini) Maikranz of Niagara Falls, NY.

Paul came to Niagara Falls, NY with his family as a child and attended local schools. He was employed as a carpenter through the New York State Carpenters Union Local 276. On December 11, 2011 he married Crystal R. Maikranz in Niagara Falls, NY. Paul enjoyed playing hockey and football.

In addition to his wife and parents, Paul is survived by two daughters, Aliana G. Maikranz and Crystiana R. Maikranz, one sister, Tammy Atkinson (Richard Koziel) of Niagara Falls, NY; his paternal grandfather Joseph (late Regina) Maikranz of Niagara Falls, NY; one nephew Christopher Gordon, two nieces Kathryn and Elizabeth Atkinson, his mother-in-law Pamela Jarmuz of Amherst, NY and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be on Saturday June 9th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a funeral service will follow at 9 p.m. with Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating.
