Rev. Paul M. Marconi, CRSP, 85, passed away Thursday February 15, 2018 at his residence in Bethlehem, PA.  Father Paul was born January 2, 1933 in Recanati, Macerata, Italy, son of the late Pasquale and Pierina (Guzzini) Marconi.  He was ordained in Rome on December 31, 1958.

During his ministry, Father Paul was Pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary, San Diego, CA, St. James in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, Mission San Antonio de Pala, Pala, CA., and St. Adelaide of Burgundy, Campo, CA.  He also served as Director of Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, Lewiston, NY.  Since 2008 he served at the Barnabite Spiritual Center in Bethlehem, PA assisting many parishes in the Allentown Diocese and Philadelphia Archdiocese until the last days of his life; he also was offering for many years Bible classes and Retreats at the Barnabite Spiritual Center

Father Paul is survived by a brother Giovanni Marconi, a sister Raffaella Marconi, seven Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother Lorenzo Marconi who passed away in 2015 and a sister Ida Marconi.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday February 20, 2018 in Allentown, PA.  There will be a viewing at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 1023 Swann Rd, Youngstown, NY on Thursday February 22, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  A Memorial Service will be held at Fatima Shrine on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 9:30 am.  Interment will follow the service at the Barnabite Cemetery on the Shrine grounds.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Father Paul's memory to The Basilica of the national Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima at 1023 Swann Road, Youngstown, New York, 14174.
